Day 1: Meet and transfer from Tocumen International Airport to your hotel. Start your Adventure trip preparing yourself for the next 10 active days! Overnight at ‘Hotel Tryp Centro’ in a standard room.
Day 2: Partial Canal Transit Tour: In the morning, you will be collected for your transfer to Flamenco. There you will take the tour bus, which will take you to the Gamboa area, where the trip starts. You will transit Pedro Miguel Locks. When entering Pedro Miguel Locks you will experience a drop of 9 meters in one step and find the Miraflores Lake, an artificial lake that connects Pedro Miguel Locks and Miraflores Locks. Afterwards you will enter the last set of locks called Miraflores Locks in the Pacific Ocean. You will be sailing the Pacific Ocean on the way to the disembarkation point at Amador Causeway, passing under the Bridge of the Americas (Puente de Las Americas). Panama Bay will be the end of this unique trip. You will spend another night at the ‘Hotel Tryp Centro’ Panama City in a standard room.
Day 3: This day includes a flight to San Blas. From the pier you will have to take a water taxi to the catamaran. Upon arrival, meet your captain and be welcomed aboard one of the San Blas Sailing yachts. Experience the beauty of the 365 islands, among which only 10% are inhabited.
All meals and drinks on board are included.
Day 4 & Day 5: Enjoy a sailing cruise around the San Blas archipelago, which is situated in the Caribbean Sea a few miles off the north coast of Panama, selected as the third most beautiful destination all over the world! Visit the traditional Kuna Indian villages and see their famous Molas. Explore deserted islands, go snorkeling, fishing, kayaking … and enjoy real moments of peace reading, and relaxing away from the massive tourism!
Day 6: You will take a flight to come back to Panama and the you will be drive to Metetí, Panamericana road for 5 hours, making some stops to the Hotel in Metetí. This day before dinner, we review all the equipment that we will take for the excursion; the rest will be left in the office. It is recommended to leave early the next day between 06:00 a.m. and 07:00 a.m. depending on the tide and the weather conditions.
Day 7: We will travel by water, we do it by boat from the community for about 3 hours crossing the Gulf of San Miguel to the Community of Playa Muerto. Hopefully; This crossing gives us the opportunity to see dolphins that are normally found inside the gulf. Upon arriving at Playa Muerto, the locals of the community will prepare a lunch. Before nightfall there is a tour to the waterfall, to the beach and to the Mirador that offers a charm Special for the bird lover and photographs. As well as; At the end of the beach, there is a river where you can navigate in small canoes that young people use to enjoy the waves and fishing.
Day 8: After a delicious breakfast, we start the march to the House of the Witch, natural viewpoint in a Rock on the shores of the imposing South Sea where you feel only the beating of the heart with just fill of pure air our lungs. Once in the Mirador and that is not cloudy, that will appreciate the natural beauty of the Lung of Las America, Darien National Park in the fight for its preservation.
Day 9: You may will enjoy the sunrise and sunset in one of the most privileged sites in the world. You will walk a viewpoint and waterfall in a walk suitable for all ages.
Day 10: Afterwards we will take you back to Panama City, where you spend the night at the Tryp Centro Panama Hotel.
Day 11: Our driver will pick up at your hotel and ride you to the most attractive and interesting sites of the Capital City, including the remains of Old Panama City (‘Panama la Vieja’), which were sacked by pirate Henry Morgan in 1671. Continue to the Colonial City or “Casco Viejo”, built in 1673, with special Spanish architecture, and where French workers, led by Ferdinand de Lesseps that initiated the project of the Panama Canal, had their homes. The tour continues to the traditional and commercial zones, the banking area and the modern city of Panama. Furthermore you can appreciate the biggest engineering structure of this century, considering as the “Eighth Miracle of the Modern World”. Learn about its function and its history. After this you can see the ships transferring the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal and you will be taken to the Amador Causeway, a man-made connection of three islands.
At the end of the tour we will bring you to the International Airport Tocumen for your international flight.
