Fort San Lorenzo is a beautiful site at the entrance of the Chagres River where Morgan began his invasion of Panama. There is a spectacular view of the ocean. The area has a very wet tropical rainforest.
On your return trip, you will visit the Agua Clara Locks, the new locks for larger ships, inaugurated on June 26, 2016.
On this site during excavations, fossils were found: guides on the site can provide information on these findings.
