10 Hours - Another way to see the Panama Canal is by taking the train ride from Panama City to Colon City. You will visit one of the fortifications for the defense of the colonial period, Fort San Lorenzo and you will visit the Agua Clara Locks, which is part of the third set of locks, for larger ships.
